Summer Dance Intensive
Enrolments for Summer Dance Intensive 2027 are open for registration.
The Summer Dance Intensive is an initiative to offer comprehensive training in Vaganova classical ballet and other dance styles based on the repertoire of the Victorian State Ballet.
Featuring top industry leaders such as Martin Sierra, Michelle Sierra, Geraldine Lett, Jonathan Janolo plus stars of the Victorian State Ballet - Janae Kerr and Michael Scott-Kahans.
The Summer Dance Intensive is a unique opportunity to taste life as a professional dancer and enjoy the benefits of unprecedented industry knowledge. The Summer Dance Intensive programs have been designed to cater for students aged 9 to 18 years.
DATES:
From Monday 11th to Thursday 14th January 2027.
TIMES:
9:30am to 3:30pm daily
LOCATION:
VICTORIAN STATE BALLET
ELIGIBILITY:
Junior Level from ages 9 to 11 years
Intermediate Level from ages 12 to 14 years
Senior Level from ages 15 to 17 years
Advanced/Pre-Professional Levels - based on a highly proficient level of technique age 18 years+
COST:
The fee is $495
WHAT TO EXPECT:
The program encompasses a daily class in Vaganova classical ballet technique, pilates and body conditioning, stretching, repertoire, pointework and contemporary dance from our expert teaching faculty.
Featuring a performance showcasing repertoire learned during the week on Thursday afternoon.
Experience ballet at its finest in our state-of-the-art facilities.

All applicants for the Summer Dance Program 2027 must register and pay via trybooking or via the payment options detailed on this page. Timetable and additional information will be forwarded to all applicants after full registration is received.
Applicants will also need to download the Summer Dance Intensive Enrolment Form and email to us at admin@victorianstateballet.org.au prior to the Intensive commencement.
