MDT incorporates three major bodies:

 

 

1. MDT Part-Time School – affiliated with The Russian Academy of Ballet. This body offers casual ballet and dance classes for all ages from 4pm every evening, Monday - Friday and Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm. MDT also offers VCE/ VET Dance. Elite after school programs have been introduced as of 2013.

 

2. MDT School of Excellence – affiliated with The Russian Academy of Ballet.This is a full-time ballet course offered to gifted Secondary School students. Entry is by audition only. Students are training for a serious dance career and will complete a minimum of 25 hours per week during school hours incorporating academic studies and ballet studies as their full- time education. Extension programs have been introduced as of 2013.

 

3. VSB Company – a dance company comprising of experienced professional dancers. This company performs around Melbourne, Australia, and Internationally. VSB Company also produces full classical ballets each year, MDT - Extension & Elite students are given the opportunity to audition to be included in the ballet cast.
