Enrolments for Summer Dance Intensive 2024 are open for registration.

The Summer Dance Intensive is an initiative to offer comprehensive training in Vaganova classical ballet and other dance styles based on the repertoire of the Victorian State Ballet. Featuring top industry leaders such as Martin Sierra, Michelle Sierra, Geraldine Lett & the stars of the Victorian State Ballet, the Summer Dance Intensive is a unique opportunity to taste life as a professional dancer and enjoy the benefits of unprecedented industry knowledge. The Summer Dance Intensive programmes have been designed to cater for students aged 8 to 18 years.

ELIGIBILITY:
 

Junior Level from ages 8 to 10 years 

​

Intermediate Level from ages 11 to 14 years

​

Senior Level from ages 15 to 17 years

​

Pre-professionals - based on a highly proficient level of technique age18 years

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The programme encompasses a daily class in Vaganova classical ballet technique, pilates and body conditioning, stretching, repertoire, pointework & pas de deux (15 years up) and contemporary dance from our expert teaching faculty. Including a performance showcasing repertoire learnt during the week on Thursday afternoon. Experience ballet at its finest in our state-of-the-art facilities.

For our 2024 Summer Program, all applicants must register and pay via trybooking or via the payment options detailed on this page. Timetable and additional information will be forwarded to all applicants after full registration is received. 

Applicants will also need to download the Summer Dance Intensive Enrolment Form and email to us at admin@victorianstateballet.org.au prior to the Intensive commencement.
