VSYB Auditions and 2020 Season

 

In addition to our current youth ballet community engagement & artistic development offered through participation with VSB company seasons, we are excited to extend opportunities to include full length ballet seasons to youth artists across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Our mission is to provide a range of performing opportunities for the development and artistic experience of young Victorian artists, expanding to interstate.

This wonderful initiative is to build motivation, fuel passion and bring insight into the professional world of ballet for our youth artists. A wonderful platform into the world of ballet, celebrating dance studios across Victoria and inspiring and encouraging the students in their current curriculum.

We will also continue to offer our current community engagement initiatives throughout the year which connects with the Victorian State Ballet Company.

2020 sees VSYB in a range of classical ballet repertoire including principal, solo & corps de ballet roles for talented young artists aged 9 years to 17 years.  

All successful artists must be available to attend rehearsals on the set dates shown below each season. Fees apply for the rehearsal period for the full length youth ballets.

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Registration: via trybooking

Rehearsal period: Sundays from 1:30pm - 5:30pm
